After graduating from university, I started to gain experience with BSKL. I began in BSKL in 2011 and am still continuing to pursue my teaching career here. Now, I am teaching Malay as a Foreign Language across Primary and Secondary. In 2014, Cambridge Assessment International Education (CIAE) appointed me as an examiner for Paper 0546/03: Speaking (Malay Foreign Language). Later in 2017, CIAE appointed me as an Assistant Examiner for Paper 0546/43: Writing (Malay Foreign Language). A year later, CIAE appointed me as a Panel Grade Review for Paper 0546/43: Writing (Malay Foreign Language). This year, CIAE has appointed me as a Team Leader for Paper 0546/43: Writing (Malay Foreign Language) this year and at the same time as an Assistant Examiner for Paper 0696:02 Composition (First Language Malay). I'm so glad to have this huge opportunity from CIAE, thus I am happy to share all of the experience in my teaching path.
During my leisure time, I love to spend my time doing my painting and keep them as my painting collection. I also love to sing Malay Traditional Songs and practice Malay Traditional Dance when possible. One of my experience while teaching, I had the opportunity to take a student aside to help him with a particularly difficult language concept that he was having trouble understanding.
When I was able to show my students a different way to approach the problem, and they got it, I knew that I had chosen the right field! That's the reason why I love to be a teacher. I believe an outstanding school not only produces great facilities for the students but a great learning environment to make them feel these 5C's: Comfort, Confidence, Courage, Creativity and Care along their journey in education.
