Brought up bilingually, I have always been aware of the benefits and pleasure that comes from speaking a foreign language. I would love spending the summer holidays with my French grandparents in the Midi-Pyrénées. During my studies of French and Spanish, I have worked as an English Language Assistant in Extremadura, Spain which ignited my passion for teaching. On my return to the UK, I completed a secondary PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages and have taught both French and Spanish from KS2 to KS5 in a good British state school. During my three years at BSKL, I have thoroughly enjoyed supporting various school trips including the Juara Turtle Project and KS4 International Award scheme. I have led the successful KS3 BSKL Award extracurricular program for three years which is designed to inspire young people. It focuses on global awareness, community service and providing student leadership opportunities. Supporting local charities such as The Peace Education Centre and Greater Action has notably widened our international perspective at BSKL.
I love to discover new places, above and below the surface. I am a keen wildlife videographer who enjoys snapping lots of different bright and colourful tropical birds and animals. Being an avid scuba diver, I have admired the most exquisite range of marine biodiversity in South East Asia and the Pacific.
Student happiness is at the heart of all we do at BSKL. Creating a warm and welcoming learning environment where students can grow and prosper holistically is of paramount importance. We strive to provide a plethora of opportunities to help develop your child’s skills and broaden their minds, both inside and outside of the classroom.
