Brought up bilingually, Caroline has always been aware of the benefits and pleasure that comes from speaking a foreign language. She would love spending the summer holidays with her French grandparents in the Midi-Pyrénées.
During her studies of French and Spanish, Caroline worked as an English Language Assistant in Extremadura, Spain which ignited her passion for teaching. On her return to the UK, she completed her secondary PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages and has taught both French and Spanish from KS2 to KS5 in a good British state school.
During her first year at BSKL, Caroline has thoroughly enjoyed supporting multiple school trips including the KS4 International Award scheme. She is looking forward to leading the BSKL award this year to help inspire young people and further widen her international perspective.
Caroline loves to discover new places, above and below the surface. She is a newly qualified advanced open water diver and surprised herself when diving with bull sharks this summer!
