After graduating, I spent a year working as a teaching assistant for A-level Mathematics in all Boy’s school in Kent, UK. Realizing that teaching is a career path that I wanted to pursue in the future, I joined a Graduate Teachers Training program in Mathematics for Secondary schools. During the training, I worked in 3 different schools across Havering, UK: Catholic School for Girls, Mixed sex state school and a special educational needs school. In my spare time, I enjoys reading books and wakeboarding. I also loves traveling with my husband and 3 children.

I believe that students’ emotional health and well-being should be at the heart of any school. Positive emotions significantly influence students learning strategies, cognitive resources, motivation, and academic achievement. As teachers, we have the amazing ability and responsibility to provide guidance and mentorship to an entirely new generation of young adults. It is our responsibility and duty to pass on our knowledge and leave the world a better and happier place than when we first found it. Happy students will become happy adults.
