Laura has long been a passionate instrumental educator, having begun her teaching in high school as a private trombone and euphonium instructor. She is thankful to have begun her professional teaching career at BSKL where she is able to maintain an exciting performance life outside of school. She has recently substituted in the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and plays popular music for studio recordings at Grand Theft Records and in live gigs. Laura extends to her students the benefit of professional connections, most recently through hosting A Brass Weekend with Darrin Milling at BSKL.
In her free time, Laura enjoys discovering food and culture of Malaysia, having taken refuge in the Portuguese Settlement of Malacca. She loves an adventure, spending her holidays on road trips, city wandering, or trekking through jungles and mountains.
