Mr Thomas Harron has 17 years of teaching experience having taught at 5 different schools since completing his PGCE at Loughborough University. Sports and PE has been a major part of his life and his passion for educating young people to live fulfilling lives inspires him to teach.

Head of Secondary PE
Mr Dewi Bartlett studied Sport Science at Bangor University. Before switching to education, he joined the British Police force as a Police Constable. He completed his PGCE in Physical Education and made the move into international teaching in 2015 at The British International School of Houston, USA for 5 years as a Physical Education Teacher. He has been with BSKL since 2020 as the Head of Secondary PE.

Mr Martin Lowe is originally from Liverpool, and taught PE in Essex for five years before deciding to teach internationally. He has held posts in Thailand, Egypt, and now in Malaysia at BSKL.
PE Teacher
Ms Victoria Wright has been in Malaysia for over 10 years now and initially joined the BSKL team from the KDU International School in Kuala Lumpur where she was Head of Physical Education for 2 years. After a successful sports career in Badminton, Victoria has remained involved in sport through coaching and teaching in Bulgaria and France. Throughout her professional sporting career, Victoria has taken part in 5 World Championships and 2 Olympic Games, finishing top 14 in the World in 2005. After retiring from professional sport, Victoria moved to United Kingdom following her husband's employment as a Great Britain's Badminton Performance Director and worked for Badminton England as a Performance Senior Administrator until the family moved to Kuala Lumpur in August 2010. In her spare time she loves running, swimming and cycling and would love to challenge herself with racing in a marathon in the near future!
Swimming Coach - Whole School
Ms Kavitraa Paramaguru started teaching swimming as a part time job in high school at her local swimming club. She went on to further her studies in the UK and continued coaching and swimming. After graduating, she went to Shanghai, China and worked full time as a swimming teacher before joining BSKL.
Secondary Sport Coach / House Advisor
Ms Selina Murphy holds a PGCE from University of Manchester and First Class Sport Coaching Honours Degree from University of Central Lancashire. Before starting her teaching career, she has worked within the sports and leisure industry within her local community that included roles such as sport coach, swimming teacher assistant, lifeguard and spin instructor.
