I have 10 years’ experience within management in the hospitality and catering industry before embarking on the teaching journey. I was promoted to assistant head in the UK within 3 years of qualifying as a teacher. I have worked within senior management for the past 7 years both within the UK and most recently at BSKL.
Originally from the UK, I moved to Malaysia with my partner who has been a teacher at BSKL but now her full-time job is looking after our two young boys. I have a passion for cooking, watching football, and playing golf.
I am an ambitious and driven leader who strives for excellence and delivers exceptional results. I create a positive school environment based on respect, reflective communication and camaraderie which leads everyone in the BSKL community to have the confidence and self-esteem to succeed. As a supportive leader I inspire others to want to be the best they can be, to take ownership and be accountable for their contributions. I am passionate about school life and absolutely committed to leading and working as part of a strategic team that drives improvement and ensures that every child reaches their full potential academically, personally, and socially and that every teacher reaches theirs.
