David has a B.A.(Hons) in Art as well as a Masters Degree in Art History, and started teaching after receiving a P.G.C.E. in Art and Design from the Institute of Education, University College London in 1997.
David spent eight years working in various English schools before moving to the Hague with his wife in 2005. After briefly working at the British School in the Netherlands, he came to work at NAISR, formally AISR, in the Art Department.
Along with teaching Art, David also teaches Media and Publications and is the school Substitution Coordinator.
He and his wife, who also teaches at NAISR, have two children who attend the school. David loves living in the Netherlands, with its museums and galleries that contain some of the greatest treasures of European history.
