Staff Profile: Adam Webb

Year 1 Leader

Adam spent his early career working within the post production industry in North London. After some years he opted to work in a local special needs school close to home which ignited an interest in teaching. Adam decided to turn his passion for working with children into a career. He went on to gain a First Class honours at Canterbury Christ Church University – during his time there he worked on educational projects in Southern India and Ghana.

Prior to joining BISS Puxi Adam worked in two schools based in England. During this time he has gained experience in both Years 3 and 4, most recently in Years 5 and 6. Adam held a number of positions of responsibility in his most recent school, including; Literacy and P.E. Co-ordinator roles.

Adam has always dreamt of being able to live and work overseas since the early stages of his teaching career. Not only is he enjoying everything that Shanghai has to offer but is also delighted to be able to work at such a reputable school. Adam has a wide range of interests but has a particular passion for football and is an avid Southend United supporter. He enjoys skiing and most recently had a taste of water skiing before he relocated to Shanghai.
