Staff Profile: Faye Dennis

Faye Dennis

Reception Class Teacher (RFD) and EYFS Leader

Faye earned a PGCE in Primary Education at the University of Leicester in the UK, specialising in Drama. After qualifying as a teacher she worked in a local school with a focus on Early Years teaching.

Work opportunities have brought Faye to Singapore where, prior to working at Dover Court, she taught at an English Enrichment School, teaching children aged from 18 months to 8 years old. This will be Faye’s fourth year working at Dover Court, and she is enjoying teaching Early Years education in a vibrant and exciting environment.

In her second year at Dover Court, Faye became the Year Group Leader in Nursery and last year took over the role of Head of Early Years. She has been focused on embedding practice from our ‘Early Years Excellence’ training we received last year and supporting teachers and TA’s to deliver a child initiated curriculum.

In her spare time Faye likes to play competitive sports and enjoys cooking. She loves to travel and is eager to have traveled to 30 countries before her 30th birthday!
