Staff Profile: Jemma Williams

Jemma Williams

Year 2 Class Teacher (2JW)

Jemma is a graduate of Liverpool Hope University, where she gained a BA Honours in Geography and completed a PGCE in primary teaching at Liverpool Hope University.

After graduating, Jemma decided to gain some work experience within different schools and at various age ranges. Deciding teaching was definitely the career path she wished to pursue, Jemma completed a TEFL course and headed off to South Korea to teach English.

After a wonderful experience in South Korea, Jemma returned to the UK where she completed her PGCE in primary teaching and took up a post as a Year 5 teacher in a large inner city school. Jemma has since worked at British international schools in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai, and is delighted to be a part of the community at Dover Court.

Jemma has a wide range of interests including reading, outdoor pursuits and travelling. She enjoys experiencing new countries, cultures and traditions and learning about different ways of life. Above all, Jemma enjoys spending time with her family when she visits the UK.
