Whilst studying, Rachael was a member of the university netball team and social secretary for her university college. Having enjoyed several primary school placements throughout her college and university life, Rachael then moved down to Winchester to complete her PGCE in Primary Teaching which she passed with Masters Credits.
During her time in London, Rachael taught across a range of year groups, as well as coordinating the library and leading both the school netball and cross country teams. Keen to bring her love of sport to her school, she was promoted to leader of learning for PE.
Since joining Dover Court, Rachael has enjoyed developing the maths curriculum in her role as KS2 Maths Coordinator and becoming a Leader in Learning for the school, as well as coaching the U9 and U10 netball teams. She also enjoys her role as Year Group Leader for Year 2.
Out of school, Rachael is a keen runner, having completed multiple half marathons, a series of Tough Mudder events and the London Marathon. Rachael is also an avid traveller having spent several summers in Europe and South East Asia, and has enjoyed being able to explore more of this part of the world.
