Sophie Unsworth

Sophie Unsworth

Year 2 Class Teacher, 2SU (Full Time)

Originally from Manchester, Sophie moved to Isle of Wight to complete her A-Levels. Having always wanted to teach, she then moved to Bath to complete her Education degree and PGCE, passing with Masters Credits. ​​​​​

After qualifying as a teacher, Sophie moved to London to begin her teaching career. During her time in London, Sophie has taught in two Independent Preparatory school and has enjoyed teaching in Year 1 and Reception. She also co-ordinated English and was heavily involved with assisting the PE team in taking coaching and taking children to fixtures.

Sophie is delighted to be teaching Year 2 at Dover Court and is looking forward to working with her next class of children to make their classroom a bright, happy and welcoming leaning environment. She is passionate about her teaching and loves seeing the children extend their learning through their different interests.

In her spare time, Sophie likes to explore new places and is enjoying exploring Singapore and the surrounding countries.  She is a member of a book club and plays regularly in a netball league. Sophie enjoys running and, in the future, would like to tackle a full marathon.
