Originally from Liverpool, UK, Beth attended the Junior School at the Royal Northern College
of Music before studying for a Bachelor of Music with Honours at the University of Manchester. She then returned to Liverpool to complete her teacher training in Secondary Music and later completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Practice through the Open University.
Beth taught as an instrumental and classroom teacher in Liverpool for ten years before moving overseas. She has since taught primary music in the Cayman Islands, Spain and Vietnam, before moving to Singapore. Beth strongly believes in inspiring a lifelong love of music in all of her students. She is an active member of the FOBISIA Music Executive Committee and is passionate about organising festivals, concerts and productions.
Beth plays the flute, cello and piano, and likes to perform with local orchestras and choirs. She also enjoys watching musical theatre, reading murder mystery novels and watching detective dramas on TV. She loves spending time with her husband and young daughter, and travelling with them to new places.
