Charlotte graduated from the University of Worcester with a BA Honours Degree in Primary Initial Teacher Education.

Charlotte has extensive experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 and enjoys the different challenges that each phase provides. In addition, Charlotte has experience of leading teams as a Year Group Leader and is enjoying developing her knowledge and experience in this area.

Charlotte views herself as a learner and is committed to contributing to research and therefore enhancing her professional practice in order to provide the best quality education for the students in her class. She believes that students learn best in a fun, secure and nurturing environment where risks are taken and mistakes are celebrated.

In addition, Charlotte is very passionate about creating real life experiences for children and feels this is essential to achieve great learning. This may involve rearranging the classroom for particular purposes or breaking out of the classroom and engaging in the Media Studio.

As a teacher, Charlotte has high expectations for the students in her class. She believes that every challenge is achievable with the right positive and ambitious mind-set, and of course the correct support.
