Originally from Bristol in the United Kingdom, Josh has taught across the year groups in a large suburban Primary school before joining Dover Court. As well as coordinating a number of after-school clubs, Josh has held various positions of responsibility throughout his teaching career including: Head of Assessment, Head of PE, Assistant Head of Science and School Council leader and is excited to be leading Year 6 this year.
Josh feels extremely privileged to be a teacher, spending every day doing something that he loves and making a difference the students in his care and the world around them. He believes that children should relish coming to school and is passionate about creating an engaging and inspiring environment in which students can thrive and develop their curiosity as active learners.
In his spare time, Josh is a keen runner and he enjoys playing a number of sports. He has represented his county in cricket and has played football competitively across the south west of England. Josh is delighted to be a member of the DCIS community.
