Already we are realising how busy this term is going to be. Next week, many of our Secondary students will be heading off on their annual residentials to various parts of Vietnam and beyond. These trips are such an important part of the educational programme that we offer at BIS HCMC. On these excursions they will gain a host of great memories which will last them a lifetime as a result of spending quality time with their friends and teachers. Unfortunately, our older Y11/Y13 students will remain in school and feel a little less excited as they will be undertaking their mock IGCSE/IBDP examinations. We would like to wish them well during these examinations which will be excellent preparation for the real ones that will take place in a few months’ time.
It is also a very exciting time over the next few weeks for our Primary school as we officially open our new Early Years and Infant Campus. As this new campus opens, then our TX campus in District 3 will eventually close and the APP campus will become the Junior campus. Students and staff will relocate in a phased way over the next three weeks. On Monday, 22nd January Fundinotots, Year 1 and F3 students will commence in the new Infant campus and Years 3,4, 5 and 6 from TX will transfer to the Junior Campus. Then, by the end of January, all our Fundinotots, F1,F2,F3 and Y1 will be housed in the Infant Campus and Y2,Y3,Y4,Y5 and Y6 will be in the Junior campus.
So January looks to be a very exciting month as we continue to develop this wonderful school. I do hope that you all have a wonderful weekend.
