Lauren Ryan

Y2 Teacher/ IT Integrator

PGDE Primary Education, Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, UK

Masters in STEM Education (in progress), University of Limerick, UK

Lauren joined BIS in August 2018 from Limerick, Ireland. She qualified as a teacher in 2013 and has worked with children from Foundation Stage through to Key Stage Two. As well as having taught through the English language, Lauren has taught children in a bilingual setting through the medium of the Irish language. Throughout her five years in teaching, she has also taken responsibility for music, piloting STEM initiatives with junior classes and coaching an athletics team. Her interests include aerobics, music and reading.
