Staff Profile: Mary Coughlan

Mary Coughlan - Primary Class Teacher

Year 1 Teacher

Higher Diploma in Primary Education, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland

BA Psychology & Sociology, University of Limerick, Ireland

Mary joined BIS in August 2019. Mary is from Galway, Ireland and qualified as a teacher in 2015 after also completing a BA in Psychology and Sociology. Mary has worked in a Community National School in Dublin for the past four years teaching Key Stages One and Two. Throughout her four years in teaching, she has gained a lot of experience with Literacy, Sports and Support for children with additional needs. 

Mary is an active learner who is always willing to embrace new teaching methods and gain more skills. Her interests include hiking, travelling, reading and socialising with friends.
