Elaine joined BIS in August 2017 from Mayo, Ireland. She qualified as a teacher in 2005 and has worked in East London for eight years before moving to Budapest, Hungary, where she worked for the past three years. Throughout her teaching career Elaine has worked across both Key Stages and taken responsibility for Geography and Modern Foreign Languages. She was the KS1 co-ordinator and Acting Joint Deputy Head of Primary in Budapest. Her interests include playing Badminton, Zumba and Wall climbing alongside socialising with her friends and travelling.
