Staff Profile: Oliver Bone

Oliver Bone - Year 6 Teacher | BIS HCMC

Year 4 Teacher/ Year 4 Leader

BA (Hons) History, The University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK

PGCE Primary Education with QTS, The University of Manchester, UK

Oliver joined BIS in August 2019, having spent the past two years working at the British International School in Shanghai, and has previously taught in Seoul, Bangkok and Manchester. Oliver graduated in 2009 with a BA (Hons) degree in History from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, and followed this with a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of Manchester in 2011.  Throughout his eight years in teaching, he has taken roles of responsibility for Computing and ICT, and has been a Year Group Leader in both Years Three and Six. Outside of the classroom, Oliver is a keen footballer who enjoys both watching and playing, he closely follows Manchester United and often attends matches whilst back in the UK.
