Staff Profile: Neil Gorton

Neil Gorton - Assistant Head Teacher, Junior Campus | BIS HCMC

Assistant Head Teacher, Junior Campus

BA (Hons) Business Administration (First Class), Coventry University

PGCE Primary (with QTS), Birmingham City University

Neil qualified from Coventry University with a BA in Business Administration and received his PGCE from Birmingham City University. Neil most recently worked at Dulwich College Seoul. During his time in Korea he was a Year Leader in Year 2 and Year 6 as well as leading data and assessment and co-leading Maths. Neil is interested in educational research and won a British International Teaching Award in 2018 for implementing an interleaving strategy into the Maths curriculum. Before Seoul, Neil taught in Egypt and in Coventry in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 where he had curriculum roles leading Science and Maths. Neil’s wife (Victoria) is teaching on the EY&I Campus.
