Staff Profile: Sarah Curran


Deputy Head Teacher, Early Years and Infant Campus

I was looking for a new challenge so applied to work in an outstanding school.

BEd (Hons) Early Years with Science, University of Oxford, UK

National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) UK

Sarah started teaching in 1995 and gained her NPQH in 2009. She taught in inner city schools in London and Bristol and village schools in Norfolk and Wales before becoming the Head Teacher of Rhigos Primary School in 2010. Sarah is passionate about early years education and enabling each child to develop as a confident learner. She also spent two years as a lecturer in the use of ICT in education and is enthusiastic about the use of modern technology to enhance learning. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She likes sewing, travel and geocaching.
