Staff Profile: Clare Bridgewater

Clare Bridgewater

Learning Support Teacher

B.Ed. Education, Textiles and Religious Studies, Leicester University

M.A. Education, Enabling Learning, Inclusion and Institutional Development, Canterbury Christchurch University, UK

Clare joined BIS HCMC in August 2022. She taught in an International School in Portugal at the start of her career. Subsequently she developed her career in England with a particular focus on the successful inclusion of children with AEN within mainstream schools. Clare has been leading a team of Specialist Teachers in Kent, supporting Early Years Settings, Primary and Secondary Schools to create environments where children can flourish academically, personally and socially.

Outside of school, Clare's interests include hiking, open water swimming and kayaking. She can often be seen walking accompanied by her Golden Retriever Percy (who loves it when children stop to say hello!)
