Staff Profile: Mark Jones

Mark Jones

PE Teacher/ Assistant PE Leader

BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science with Physical Education at Brighton University

Post Graduate Certificate in Education (P.G.C.E) at Loughborough University

Mark is originally from South Oxfordshire. In the U.K, Mark was second in the PE department of a large secondary comprehensive and ran the GCSE P.E and vocational courses, as well as directing the extra-curricular sport program. He was also a Head of House and worked extensively with the PEARSON exam board. To say Mark is sport mad would be an understatement as he has played at club/county level in several sports. He is particularly fond of football, cricket, table tennis and badminton. In his free time away from sport Mark enjoys comedy (he tells really bad jokes!), live music and can play 4 chords on the guitar!
