Staff Profile: Eileen Nonis

Eileen Nonis - EAL Teacher | BIS HCMC

Learning Support Teacher

BA Hons - English and American Literature, Liverpool John Moores University, UK

Primary PGCE with English Specialism, Exeter University, UK

Eileen joined BIS in August 2019 from Ilkley, West Yorkshire. She qualified as a teacher in 2005 and has worked in schools in inner London and, more recently, Egypt and Bradford. She has primarily taught in upper Key Stage Two but has experience across the whole of Primary. In previous roles she has had whole school responsibility for: Special Needs, Literacy, Science and PE. She is accompanied by her two children. When she is not teaching, she loves to read alongside playing netball, cycling, hiking and exploring new places with her family.
