John McCourt - Teacher of Computing | BIS Ho Chi Minh City

Teacher of Computing

PGCE Computing and Information Technology, Queen’s University Belfast, UK

John joined BIS HCMC in August 2019 from England where he worked for four years as teacher and then Head of Computing Department at an Outstanding rated school in London. Originally from Ireland he completed his degree and PGCE at Queen’s University Belfast. John is a keen programmer who has taught Computer Science successfully across all Key Stages and ran several coding clubs at his previous school. He enjoys travelling and before commencing his PGCE spent two years travelling in Australia and South East Asia. Outside the classroom John a is keen sportsman, particularly in football, rugby union and Gaelic football.
