Staff Profile: Chris Diver

Chris Diver

Head of Design & Technology

BSc (Hons) Cert Ed in Industrial Design and Technology with Education, Loughborough University of Technology, Loughborough, UK.

Chris has over 10 years’ experience teaching Design and Technology in a wide variety of settings.  Most recently he worked in an innovative and successful Technology department taking lead roles in ensuring stretch and challenge for all students, and a multitude of STEM activities.  Chris also managed the delivery and coordination of the Duke of Edinburgh Award at all levels.

Chris worked for many years as an accomplished expedition leader and personal development coach in both the UK and overseas.  In fact, he thrives in any developmental setting working with people and problem solving. He is married and has one child.  Mainly his interests are outdoors activities; long distance walking, mountaineering, cycling and field sports.  He is a keen motorcyclist and maintains a number of motorcycles.
