Design & Technology Teacher

BSc in Education: Design and Technology with Information and Communication Technology

James first joined BIS in August 2012 from Pathways World School, India where he was Head of Design and Technology and went on to hold a variety of different positions within BIS from Acting Assistant Headteacher, IB Coordinator, Whole School STEAM Coordinator and Teacher of Design and Technology over the 7 years he was here. James, however, left in the summer of 2019 to fulfil his dream of taking a year out from teaching to ride a motorcycle the length of the Americas, starting in Alaska (USA) and ending in Ushuaia (Argentina). Along with Travel and Sports his big passion is problem solving and engaging opportunities to develop students Learning Skills, ranging from designing critical thinking and collaboration puzzles. With many stories and experiences to share James has now return back to the country and school he feels has become home.
