Staff Profile: Cat Molloy

Catherine Sargent _Head of Drama

Head of Drama

I moved to Vietnam for a challenge and a change. I had never worked in international teaching before BIS and planned to stay for 4 years. I am now starting my 6th year and have fallen in love with Saigon as well as the positive creative attitude of BIS. The students and staff are inspiring in their creativity and their passion, there is never a dull day at APS.

Cat joined BIS in August 2012. She previously spent 7 years as Head of Drama and Year Leader at a grammar school in the Cotswolds, where she taught all age ranges and directed numerous plays and musicals. She is very excited to be teaching at her first international school. Cat loves all areas of theatre and has performed with local amateur dramatic groups before joining BIS, and enjoys sharing her passion for theatre with the students. She also enjoys reading, writing short stories and plays, travelling, cooking and learning new things.
