BSc Geography, Newcastle University, UK
PGCE Secondary Geography, Newcastle University, UK
Stuart began his teaching career at Bexley Grammar School in south-east London in 2012 where he taught Geography through the International Baccalaureate Diploma as well as A-Level for 4 years. Whilst there he also gained valuable pastoral experience as Assistant Head of Year.
Prior to this Stuart fuelled his passion for geography by travelling around the world, including destinations in Vietnam and SE Asia. His sense of adventure and love of his subject naturally led to him co-ordinating the Duke of Edinburgh’s award scheme as well as leading a World Challenge expedition to Madagascar. Stuart has a keen passion for travel and cooking and, when not teaching, likes to experience as many cultures and cuisines as possible. He also enjoys relaxing by watching sport, particularly rugby and football. Stuart joined BIS HCMC in August 2016.
