I have been at BIS for nearly 9 years now and it has been a very exciting journey as the musical opportunities have expanded and grown. I have had the pleasure of watching the musical standards of the students develop and hope to see this continue in the future.

PGCE Secondary Music, Bretton Hall, University of Leeds , UK

Before coming to BIS, Ian taught for four years in a British International School in Thailand as Head of Music. Prior to this he worked as a Music Teacher and Head of Music in two secondary schools in Dorset, UK for ten years. He is a trumpet and cornet specialist and has many years of experience playing and conducting various orchestras and bands both in the UK and in Thailand, as well as playing a variety of other instruments. Ian’s interests include learning more about world music, watching football and cricket and reading.
