Staff Profile: Laura McLoughlin

PE Teacher

I moved to Vietnam in order to develop myself both personally and professionally. I wanted to experience international teaching and have the opportunity to travel to places that may never have been available to me before. Moving to BIS was an excellent opportunity to do all of these things.

BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science, University of Bedfordshire, UK

PGCE Physical Education, University of Bedfordshire, UK

Laura joined the BIS team in August 2015. Prior to this she spent 3 years teaching in the UK at Lea Manor High School, a mixed secondary school in Luton, where she contributed towards the development of the PE curriculum and the growth of the extra-curricular programme. Laura loves keeping fit, her main interests include Netball, Badminton and Athletics, both competing and coaching. She also has a keen interest in reading, trying new sports and experiencing different cultures.
