Staff Profile: Maddison Fern

Maddison Fern: PE Teacher | BIS HCMC

PE Teacher / Head of Hue House

BA (Hons) Physical Education, Leeds Metropolitan University, UK

PGCE Secondary PE with QTS, Leeds Metropolitan University, UK

Maddison joined BIS HCMC in August 2019. After qualifying as a teacher in 2013 she enjoyed 3 years working in a UK school before moving to international teaching in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Whilst in the UAE she taught PE at another BSO outstanding rated school teaching a variety of sports across all Key Stages. She held leadership positions as KS3 Curriculum Leader and Head of House as well as pursuing her keen interest in gymnastics as an elite level coach.

Maddison believes in an holistic education and looks forward to contributing enthusiastically to the wider BIS experience as Head of Hue House. Maddison’s interests include travelling, socialising with friends and watching and playing different sports.
