Staff Profile: Danielle Fountain

Danielle Fountain

IBDP Coordinator / Science Teacher - Biology

MA (Oxon.) in Biological Sciences, University of Oxford, UK

MA in Educational Leadership, Institute of Education, UK

PGCE, Canterbury Christ Church University, UK

Danielle joined BIS in 2016. Danielle graduated from Oxford University in Biological Sciences, and first started teaching in Honduras. She then went on to work as a Sustainability Strategy Consultant in London, supporting businesses in becoming more environmentally and socially responsible, before completing her PGCE in 2010. From 2011 Danielle has worked as the Deputy Head of Science, and then the Head of Science King Solomon Academy, London, UK. In 2015 Danielle worked as an Assistant Principal, with interests in teacher development, and curriculum and assessment. In her spare time Danielle enjoys doing any outdoor activity! Her favorites include hiking, diving and rowing.
