Dominic Cheng

Science Teacher - Chemistry

BSc Hons Biology, The University of Nottingham, UK

PGCE Secondary Science - Manchester Metropolitan University, UK

Dominic joined BIS in August 2021 after a successful 5 years teaching in international schools in Dubai. Dominic graduated from the The University of Nottingham in 2001 and completed his PGCE at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2003. Throughout his career, Dominic has held a wide variety of positions including Head of Department and Head of Year teaching in inner-city schools in Manchester and Oldham before moving to international teaching in Dubai. Outside of school Dominic very much enjoys all things food-related. He also sometimes runs to make up for all the food he eats whilst indulging in this passion.
