Alice joined BIS in August 2018 from the UK. She first worked overseas as a research scientist in Paris, France following her PhD and before qualifying as a teacher in 2006. She has worked in 3 leading UK independent schools over the last 12 years and has undertaken a variety of roles including Head of Duke of Edinburgh Award, Head of Biology, Head of Science, Exams Officer, Careers Advisor and UCAS tutor. Most recently she has focussed on parenting her daughter, who is now four and looking forward to starting school full time at BIS with her! In her spare time, Alice enjoys outdoor pursuits such as trekking, climbing and running as well as keep fit, and the more sedate activity of reading. Mostly she enjoys spending time with her family.
