Lee started his teaching career with two very different teaching placements - one in central London, the other in Sherbrooke, Québec. Despite the difference in temperature, he enjoyed experiencing the Canadian education system and teaching French and English to first and second language learners. Lee then joined Bromsgrove School, where he taught French and German in both the preparatory and senior schools, before assuming the role of CAS Coordinator. The urge to teach overseas led him to Kellett School, Hong Kong, where, as Head of Faculty, he helped develop a rigorous and broad languages curriculum. During this time Lee completed his NPQSL qualification, where he focused on raising standards of Teaching and Learning in the Senior School.
Lee is a passionate linguist who also enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling and keeping fit. He recently completed a two-week trek in Nepal to Everest Base Camp. Lee's next adventures will hopefully see him completing a 1200km cycling tour of Taiwan and hiking unassisted above 6000m altitude in the Himalayas.
