Zara Pugh

Student Support & Counselling Officer

Zara joined BIS in August 2019 from Manchester, England. She qualified as a teacher in 2008 and has been working in secondary schools in Manchester up until moving to Vietnam. She became a Head of Year in 2012 and has been working in a pastoral capacity in schools since then. She has moved to Vietnam with her husband, who is also a teacher at BIS, and her two young children.  Her interests include socialising with friends and family, travelling the world and swimming for relaxation.

In addition to her years of experience in supporting young people, Zara is currently completing a professional Diploma in Counselling and is a member of the Australian Counselling Association.
