The Community Service profile at our Secondary campus gains new momentum every term. Students are very proactive at planning experiences when visiting our partner schools as they prepare engaging and fun activities for children at Thao Dien Disabled School as well as teaching English at Huynh Van Ngoi Primary School. Our sustainability clubs work to continually improve the sustainability practices of our school and raise awareness of global issues, whilst students in other service projects lead campaigns to promote cancer awareness and support the children's oncology ward at a local hospital. Both the BIS students and the teachers make a point of going out into the local community to make a difference to the lives of others. In addition, the Student Leadership clubs which are led by the senior students enrich the primary CCA programme by providing arts & craft activities to the younger BIS students on the Junior and Early Years Campuses. This fantastic outreach to the BIS school community allows students to exercise their leadership skills through mentorship, creativity, responsibility and collaboration.
