This unique experience begins on arrival in Can Tho City with a series of activities designed to develop team-building and creativity. These include catapult making, swimming pool games and code-breaking challenges.
This is followed by two full days of the children immersing themselves in discovering local traditions such as noodle-making, pottery, farming, cooking, fishing, blacksmithing and leaf weaving. All of this is experienced through boat rides along the Mekong River as well as a short cycle ride.
On the last day, the children face a final set of challenges as they compete in house team swimming relays to find jigsaw puzzle pieces of photographs that link to what they have experienced in the days before. They also get to watch a fruit-cutting demonstration by the hotel chef before trying to replicate a simplified design. Their Mekong Delta adventure comes to a close with them enjoying the creativity of decorating a pot before boarding the buses to head home.
Children return to HCMC with a greater sense of independence and life-long memories of an exciting expedition with their friends.
