Our repertoire of activities and events is reflective of our vibrant school culture.
The BIS HCMC Secondary School Student Council, is an entirely student-led organisation comprised of representatives from all year groups (from Year 7 through to Year 13). Working hand in hand with the Secondary Campus Leadership Team, we look to initiate and maintain positive change throughout the school community. Students are provided the opportunity to hone their skills in representative leadership, cooperation and problem solving.

Mission Statement: To act as a bridge between students and staff, by making decisions for the welfare of all members of the school.
Past Projects
Initiated a campaign to reemphasize the importance of respect and appreciation of support staff. This included increasing awareness about student responsibility in keeping the school environment clean.
Working with staff, the council further integrated learning about culture and heritage into Vietnamese lessons to maximise student engagement.
Vision
To develop an official form representative feedback system in which we ensure that all matters and decisions discussed are voted on by students outside the Council.
To develop a student-friendly online platform where students can regularly update and document our activities and achievements throughout the year.
To work with the Welfare & Guidance team to further enact our school mission of creating a community based on Integrity, Respect and Care.
To partner with the Parent Teacher Group (PTG) to voice parent’s opinions in matters affecting the welfare of the student body
