PTA Christmas Giving Tree

The Christmas Giving Tree allows our children to think of others at Christmas time by purchasing gifts for those less fortunate than themselves.

Xmas Giving Tree Poster 2018

In acknowledgement of last year’s incredible response, the PTA has decided to extend our outreach from 226 to 437 underprivileged children. To that end, our Charity Committee has been busy collecting wishes from all around Poland. With your generosity, we hope to deliver gifts to:

  •  263 students (between 3 and 15 years old) from two schools in Nowe Worowo and Lekowo in the North West of Poland.  As we have done for many years, we will do this in partnership with Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility.
  •  136 children (between 4 and 19 years old) at homes in Plock, Kutno, Warsaw, Sopot and Gdansk in partnership with the Pankracy Foundation.
  • 38 children from poor families in Warsaw in association with the Broken Ties charity. We will also deliver 20 Christmas hampers to these families.

I hope that you have already received letters or emails explaining how to participate in this exciting project. Wish lists will be available next week at Dabrowskiego and Limanowskiego. Presents and donations are due by Friday 23 November. If you have any questions, please contact PTA Charities

Thank you for your continued generosity.

To experience the joy your contributions bring, please take a look at last year's present opening events at the two schools. The videos are beautiful and it is lovely to see the children receive their presents.
