PTA Corner

We start the new term with a flurry of events and some further feedback from the Christmas Giving Tree

Happy New Year from the PTA committee.

In the last days before the Christmas break, we were busy handing out the last presents from the Christmas Giving Tree. On Sunday 16th December, a group of PTA parents and their children delivered presents to the children’s home in Targowek, Warsaw.  On Tuesday 18 December, a trip from the school (IB students, teachers and PTA parents) visited children’s homes in Kutno and Plock.  During each visit, our students presented the gifts and shared a Christmas dinner with the children.

At the same time, a group of PTA parents delivered Christmas hampers and presents to the local charity, Broken Ties. Thank you very much to Biedronka who donated half of the hampers for this cause.

Thank you again to all parents and students and teachers for fulfilling all these children’s Christmas wishes.

Please take a moment to watch follow this link to see the impact your giving made for the children of Lekowo and Nowe Worowo.

Christmas Fair

Thank you to all our parent ambassadors who volunteered to help prepare and then manage the chocolate tombola and Santa’s grotto.  We had a wonderful afternoon and raised 2146zl.  All the money raised from these activities goes towards PTA activities in school.

The lucky winners of the Santa’s Grotto prize draw, with prizes kindly donated by the MacDonald family, were Jakov and Bruno.... Congratulations!

The Big Thank You

It was really lovely to take time out to say a big “Thank you” to so many of our parent ambassadors on a cold, winter’s evening in the last week of term.
