Boats & Water Transport in Reception

This week in Reception we continued with our Transport theme, focusing on boats and water transport.

  • Reception 3
  • Reception 2
  • Reception 1
  • Reception 4

Children explored capacity, floating and sinking and water transport throughout the week.

We received fantastic videos of pictures of experiments performed in the bath, ponds and in kitchen sinks. Children and parents got creative and messy with their learning! We also explored the poem 'The Sea' where Reception acted out the poem and talked about their own experiences at the sea.

It was another wonderful week of virtual learning and we cannot wait to see what the children come up with next week!
