Year 8 Book Review

When it is safer to stay inside, at least we have a bit more free time than usual. Reading may be a good way to spend it.

Reading can expand your imagination, improve your writing skills or concentration and calm you down, which is very important to focus on in this stressful time. You may say that you don’t enjoy reading, but, quoting J.K. Rowling:

“If you don’t like to read, you haven’t found the right book”.

Our Year 8 students would highly recommend you to read a novel by Rafał Kosik called ‘Felix, Net and Nika and the Gang of Invisible People’. You can try reading it in Polish to expand your vocabulary.

It is a very engaging science-fiction adventure book about three best friends fighting against the evil. It is the first part of a 15-book long series so if you enjoy it, you already have several more reading options that you are going to be interested in.  Here are some posters made by Year 8 students promoting this novel.
