Zahra and Phillip Won the Branch NE Rowe Educational Scholarship Awards

We are proud to announce that 2 of our high school students, Zahra and Phillip, stood out among college candidates and won the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) - Washington DC Branch Scholarship Award on June 23rd at Airbus Experience Center. They were presented with their medals and certificates on Wednesday, June 28th, at the British Ambassador's Residence by the British Ambassador and Lady Darroch.

Zahra H. in Year 11 won the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) - Washington DC Branch Young Aviator of the Year award and will be heading to London to the Young Persons Stem conference in September. She can also take a chaperone and be there for 4 nights. Phillip in Year 12 won the second prize which is $750 towards and tuition aviation/aerospace research. Our students presented above and beyond in skill and demonstrated a high level of research ability. The Airbus Senior Leadership were blown away with their professionalism and extended interest in developing internship opportunities for our students.
