As a school and community, we’re proud to announce that the initiative ‘Missions Possible’ led by our Year 10 students Yubin, Yoonwoo, Eunsong, Ariana, Yanue and Veronica have been awarded with the Nord Anglia Education Social Impact Grant of 10,000 USD

Project ‘Mission Possible’ has been created by our Year 10 Student Community Partner Representatives who want to make a long-term sustainable difference to an non for profit organization called ‘Women with a mission’ which serves to educate stateless orphan children on the border of Thailand and Myanmar.

Due to Covid-19 and other financial restrictions, currently the children placed in this educational facility have the most basic of amenities to use and often sleep on hard floors with no other alternatives.

“I am delighted that the efforts of our year 10 students were recognised by the judging panel at Nord Anglia, and they were awarded this grant. This really is a pressing issue that often gets overlooked but with this funding our students can help create a loving and safe space for students just like them to learn in.” said Ms Iena Dua, Social Impact Leader at Regents International School Pattaya.

‘Mission possible’ is focusing on physically transforming that space by providing new bedding as well as other renovations so that students can be safe and comfortable in this facility and have an educational space that really allows for nurturing and learning to take place.

“We never thought we would receive the full amount, but to be granted $10,000 is amazing, and we are glad they see how worthwhile this cause is, now it’s time to get started and begin work on renovating the space.” Veronica, Year 10 Student Community Partner Representative.
