7th June 2025 marked a defining moment for our Class of 2025 as the community came together to celebrate their academic journey with a graduation ceremony that was both heartfelt and inspiring. This year’s celebration honored the achievements of students completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and A-Levels, showcasing their resilience, growth, and readiness for the future.
A symbolic procession of pride
The day before the actual graduation ceremony the Class of 2025 walked in procession through the Primary and Secondary school, led by our School Principal Ms. Amos Turner-Wardell and Head of Secondary Mrs. Tamara McKenna together with the Sixth Form team. Dressed in traditional caps and gowns, the graduates were greeted with cheers and applause from younger students and teachers, symbolising the legacy they leave behind and the inspiration they provide to future generations.
A ceremony of celebration
Held in the Globe Theatre, the graduation ceremony was attended by proud families, friends, and faculty. Each graduate was called to the stage to receive their certificate, accompanied by applause and joyful smiles. Special awards were presented to students who excelled in academics, leadership, sports, and community service, highlighting the diverse talents and contributions of the Class of 2025. We also welcomed our School Founder, Dr Virachai Techavijit who presented the Founder's award which is awarded to a graduate who has been a Regents' student for many years.
Reflecting on the journey
Following the official graduation tradition of moving the cap tassel from right to left, and the cap toss in front of the school clock tower, the celebration continued with a lively reception. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, hugs, and photo opportunities as graduates and their loved ones reflected on the journey that brought them to this moment. It was a time to express gratitude, share memories, and look ahead with optimism.
A future full of promise
The Class of 2025 leaves Regents International School Pattaya equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values to thrive in a global landscape. Their graduation is not just an end, but a beginning—one filled with opportunities, challenges, and the promise of making a meaningful impact in the world.
