This week marked a joyful and meaningful milestone at Regents International School Pattaya as a traditional blessing ceremony was held to celebrate the start of construction for our brand-new 50-metre swimming pool. With fruit offerings, chants, and heartfelt good wishes, our school leadership and staff came together to honour this exciting new chapter in our campus development.
A pool designed for excellence
Located next to the sports hall, the new pool will be a state-of-the-art facility designed to elevate the swim programme and support the growth of our competitive swim team, the Regents Lions. From our youngest learners building water confidence to our seasoned athletes training for competitions, this pool will serve as a hub for skill development, wellness, and school spirit.
“This pool is more than just a facility—it’s a symbol of our commitment to holistic education. The blessing ceremony was a beautiful moment of reflection and unity as we look forward to the opening of the new pool. We believe that enhanced environments inspire enhanced learning, and this new space will empower our students to grow in confidence, skill, and wellbeing.” Ms. Amos Turner-Wardell, School Principal.

A vision for the future
As part of our continued investment in sports and wellbeing, the new swimming pool will also enable the school to host official swim meets and inter-school competitions, creating more opportunities for community engagement and showcasing the talents of our students.
We’re proud to be part of the Nord Anglia Education family, where innovation and holistic development are at the heart of everything we do. This new facility is a testament to our vision of providing outstanding learning experiences that prepare students to thrive—physically, academically, and socially.
What’s next?
Construction is now underway, and we look forward to welcoming students into this incredible new area. Until then, we’ll continue to share updates and progress as the pool takes shape.
