Our friendly Admissions Team is here to help you with any questions you may have about our school and the admissions process.

Admissions FAQs
Admissions

Do you admit students throughout the year?

As an international school, we are pleased to offer a rolling admissions, therefore enrolling students throughout the academic year. Our teachers are used to settling students in at short notice and we offer a full on-boarding service to allow students to be easily integrated into their relevant year group, regardless of the time of the year.

What is the admissions process?

Parents should enquire to the admissions team and make an appointment to meet with a member of our academic leadership team. Should they wish to proceed they will be invited to apply through our online application form. Further assessment may be required before a place is then offered. Once a place is offered then a registration fee is required to secure and guarantee the place.

We welcome enquiries from students with or without previous experience of the IB curriculum.

Teaching and Learning

What curriculum do you follow?

We offer the International Baccalaureate Programme. The IB provides your child with the essential skills for lifelong learning and leads to the IB Diploma Programme. It is also flexible enough to integrate Irish language, history and cultural studies throughout the school.

What ages do you offer?

Our School is open to students from the ages of 3 to 17. We offer programmes beginning in Early Years through to the Diploma Programme.

What foreign languages do you teach?

Early Years and Primary (KG4 to Grade 5) students have the opportunity to take a Language Acquisition Course . Students will have the option to learnSpanish, French, Mandarin, and Irish.

In Grade 6 to 8, students will have the opportunity to choose from the following langauges in each year of their studies. Language Acquisition courses consist of: French, German, Spanish, Irish, and Mandarin.

In Grades 9 and 10, students will have the opportunity to learn one Language Acquisition course from the following langauges in each year of their studies. Language Acquisition courses consist of: French, German, Spanish, Irish, and Mandarin.

In Grade 11 and 12, students will choose to continue with their choice of Language Acquisition course.  Language Acquisition courses consist of: French, German, Spanish, and Mandarin.

How do you support children with English Language Supports (ELS)?

Integrating students whose Mother tongue is not English is a key strength of the school. We ensure that students who need ELS receive the required attention to become more fluent in  English. In Primary, student can choose to use the time allocated for language acquisition to take ELS. This allows students to quickly and effectively develop their language ability and feel comfortable studying in English.
